The difference between NBR EPDM FKM RING
NBR (Nitrile Rubber)
NBR is a synthetic rubber known for its excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and solvents. It has good mechanical strength and
wear resistance, making it suitable for applications in hydraulic systems, petroleum industries, and automotive components.
However, it performs poorly at high temperatures and has limited resistance to UV and ozone.
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
EPDM is a versatile rubber with excellent weather resistance, heat resistance, and aging resistance. It finds widespread use in
outdoor and high-temperature applications, such as automotive seals, weather seals, and pipe gaskets. EPDM has good resistance to
ozone, oxygen, and UV exposure, but it has lower performance with oils and organic solvents.
FKM (Fluoroelastomer, also known as Viton ring or FFKM)
FKM is a high-performance rubber known for its exceptional chemical resistance and heat resistance. It can withstand extreme
temperatures and aggressive chemicals, making it suitable for aerospace, chemical, medical, and semiconductor industries. FKM
