BN inserts features:
1.CBN has strong chemical properties and will not react with ferrous metals at high temperatures.
2.The red hardness of CBN can reach 1370°C, almost twice that of diamond: at 800°C, the hardness of CBN is higher than that of cemented carbide, ceramics and PCD at room temperature. Therefore, the cutting speed of CBN tool can be 2-5 times higher than that of cemented carbide and ceramic tool, with high cutting efficiency.
3.The wear resistance of CBN is 5-10 times that of coated carbide, 3-5 times that of ceramic, and it has a very high life.
