FAQ

Kids Ride On Cars/Vehicles – F.A.Q’s

1. Could you tell me more about the kid’s ride on cars please?

Of course, the vehicles we sell mainly fall into two categories, licensed and non-licensed.

The licensed cars with license agreement are based on their larger counterparts design, are approved by the car marque and come with a selection of great features. These cars look stunning!!

The non-licensed vehicles represent excellent value for money, and come with great features like parental remote control and MP3 function inputs. We should point out that as the manufacture process on the non-licensed vehicles involves injection molding there can sometimes be light marks on the vehicle body parts. This is perfectly normal and the marks are not scratches.

Our Go-Karts and pedal powered vehicles also fall into the non-licensed group.

2. What type of motors do your ride on cars have?

Our ride on vehicles are normally powered by either 6V, 12V or 24v electric motors. The product description will indicate which engine the car has.

3. How fast do the kids ride on cars go?

It depends on the surface the vehicle is being operated on, but 6V cars can hit up to 3mph (5km/h), the 12V cars 5mph (7km/h) and the 24v cars 7mph (13km/h). *Please note these speeds are manufacturer estimates only, actually speeds can differ!

4. How long should I charge my Kids Ride On Cars for?

The instructions provided with your vehicles will state how long it should be charged for, usually though the first charge should be for roughly 12hrs. Then from the second time, please charge about 8-12hrs. As a precaution, please do not leave on charge overnight.

5. What if something breaks or stops working?

Don’t worry, we offer remote assistance to help with problems that arise, in most cases the cars are quickly fixed and back up and running in no time. Just let us know the problem and we will do all we can to help.

6. What’s the suggested age range for the kids ride on cars?

  • For all our electric kids ride on cars the suggested minimum age is 3 years +
  • For our foot-to-floor ride on cars the suggested minimum age is 2 years +
  • For our pull along and non-electric foot-to-floor vehicles the minimum age is 2 years+

These are guidelines only and of course we know children all grow up differently; if there’s any doubt then please use common sense and most importantly please keep an eye on your child at all times when the ride on vehicles are being used.

7. Are your kids ride on cars tested to European Toy standards?

Yes absolutely! Our cars meet all European toy standards required; this includes all the required CE markings.

8. Is there any chance of a shock from the battery?

There is no possibility of a shock from these cars; they are designed with a fuse system which kicks in to prevent a shock. Of course it is important that you follow the instructions carefully when assembling the vehicle!

9. Do you offer a warranty on your kids ride on vehicles?

In most cases issues are sorted out by remote assistance and replacement of damaged/faulty parts. This will always be our first course of action; it may well mean you having to dis-assemble the vehicle to look for issue's and provide pictures/video of your set up so that we may provide the assistance required. We will try our best to solve these problems for you.

The ride on vehicle’s have a 12 month return to base warranty.

For the sake of clarity this means that should you wish to return an item to our workshop for direct technical inspection and/or repair this must be done at your own cost. If the fault is found to be connected to a manufacturing defect that could not have been resolved via remote assistance we will repair or replace the item as necessary and return free of charge. If however the fault is found to be user error or could have been resolved via remote assistance, then we reserve the right to charge for labour and return delivery costs. If the above is unclear then please contact us and we’ll be happy to talk you through.
