What is Categories of KT Board

KT board can be divided into cold composite and hot composite from the relatively mature production process. The products produced by these two different processes are called cold sheet and hot sheets.

1. Cold sheets production process
The first is the foaming of the board core: the raw material is PS particles, but since the cold plate is mostly a single-layer
board core, it needs to be foamed twice. The thickness of the first foaming is generally about 3.5mm. After curing for half a month, For the second foaming, put the core on the equipment and foam to about 5.0-5.2mm. After the second foaming, it can be glued directly. The choice must be neutral glue. The glue is applied to the dough and the core at the same time to paste each other. The paste must be squeezed by a flat hydraulic press (more than ten tons), and the trimming can be taken out and shipped within 24 hours.
2. Hot sheets Production Process
2.1 Foam PS particles into 2.5mm-3.0mm board core through equipment (one-time foaming). At this time, the board core is coiled material, generally 500 meters. At this time, the board core should be stored at room temperature for half a month. (Aging period), so that some exhaust gas from the board core is discharged.
2.2 Veneer
Put two large rolls of stretched PS pastry and two large rolls of cooked board core on the equipment at the same time, and use the mold of the equipment to make them fuse and stick together to form a whole board. The thickness of the dough is about 0.01m
2.3 Whole package
When the pasted board is placed on the equipment, it is cut to a length of 2.4m, and then trimmed after it is cut, and the whole board is packaged and shipped out of 0.9×2.4.
3. In addition to the classification of cold and hot plates, KT boards can also be divided into: silk-screen KT boards, mounted KT boards, paper KT boards, high-density KT boards, color KT boards, export-level KT boards, adhesive KT boards, etc.
