1. Pure titanium is silver-white metal, it has many fine properties. The density of titanium is 4.54 g/cm3, 43 percent lighter than steel and slightly heavier than the famed light-metal magnesium.
2. The mechanical strength is about the same as steel, twice as large as aluminum and five times larger than magnesium. Titanium is high temperature, melting point 1942K, is nearly 1000K higher than gold, nearly 500K higher than steel.
3. Titanium is a very reactive metal. When heated, it can be used for non-metal functions such as O2, N2, H2, S and halogen.
