Dried Bamboo Pole Facts
1. Bamboo can take up to 2 years to dry naturally.
2. Bamboo will change in color as it dries.
3. Bamboo may split in the process of drying. We will not ship you a pole that is cracked wide open. There maybe season splits, if possible we ship all poles free of cracks at time of shipment.
4. Bamboo cut poles will rot with exposure to the elements.
5. Bamboo can be bent into many shapes when heated. Once cool the pole will retain the shape it was fashioned. 6. Bamboo is very easy to work with and can be split using simple tools.
7. Bamboo will not be completely dried when shipped. This varies with the time of year ordered.
8. Bamboo poles taper, the diameter will be different on each end.
9. Diameter is measured on large end. Typical taper is 5-10% dependent upon size and species of cane.
10. Length of poles can vary by 2% due to drying process.
