Steel wire screw sleeve
Wire threaded bushings are spring-like threaded connections made from high strength, high precision, diamond-shaped interface stainless steel wire windings. It is commonly used to strengthen the screw holes of aluminum or other low strength bodies or to repair screw holes damaged by processing or use.
Structural principle
A wire screw sleeve is screwed into a screw hole of a specific size, the outer corner of its diamond-shaped cross-section fits closely to the body, while the inner corner of the diamond-shaped cross-section travels a new standard internal thread. A standard screw is screwed into the internal thread created by the wire bushing, forming a threaded connection with a wire bushing.
Before screwing into the screw hole, the diameter of the free state is larger than the diameter of the internal thread used to install the wire bushing, and the diameter needs to be reduced when screwing into the wire bushing, but after screwing into the wire bushing, it pops open by itself. The wire screw sleeve relies on its own elasticity to fit tightly in the groove of the body thread, so that it is firmly fixed in the body thread. Screwing in and out will not loosen the screw.
