Installation Steps:

1. Locate the existing trailer wire harness, which is mounted to the hitch or rear bumper.

2. Press down and remove the white retainer tab to separate the 7-way connector from the car wiring harness.

3. Position the paired extension harness ends between the separated connectors. Insert thelonger of the paired connector into the car wiring harness connector. Insert the shorter of the paired connectors into rear of the factory 7-way socket. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.

4. Locate a routing path to the rear of truck bed. Choose a mounting location todrill a 2-1/8" hole.

5. Secure the connector to the side wall using the provided self-tapping screws.
