PDLC film is the abbreviation of Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystals film which is basically
three-dimensional structures composed by liquid crystal microdrops dispersed in a polymer
matrix. Polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) films are useful in light control
applications because they can be switched electrically between light scattering and
transparent states.
Flexible PET film with conductive material coated by high –tech manufacturing facility
name “smart web” named ITO film, the percentage of conductive material and PET film
quality is key factor make PDLC film of good quality outstanding with high transmittance,
resistance to high voltage shocks. The liquid crystal is sandwiched between the 2 ITO film
by lamination machine, this is how the PDLC film is made.

With current switch, the PDLC film is vaporous due to the disordered arrangement of liquid
crystal molecules after turning off the power. On the contrary, when the power has opened,

4.Q: Why do my windows look foggy after window tinting?
A: Window Tint is applied to glass that has been sprayed with a special liquid which allows the tint to be moved around and
positioned properly. Once in place, the tint is squeegeed extensively to remove as much of this moisture as possible but some is
always left behind. Over a period of between 5-7 days this will evaporate as the tint cures to the glass.
5.Q:What kind of cautions should be cared for after installation.
A:When tinting the window film, it usually turns blurry, cloudy, and displaying some different colors right after the
installation. However, these conditions will remain only 3 days in summer and a week in winter only after the water drying process
for tinting. Therefore, the window should be avoided turning up and down or avoided being touched. Do not directly scratch the
tinted window with sharp objects. The film surface has a hard coating, but nails or other sharp objects can make scratches.
Furthermore, do not put tape on tinted windows.
